so funny debra, i was JUST going through old work and had a lot of similar thoughts as you :,) it's so interesting to see how even though we change with time, our authentic voices as writers always seem to shine through <3

Oh my goodness yes! I found old books I wrote my thoughts, and the change in me was remarkable! From broken to whole. Thank you for this!

This was such a moving and inspiring read, Debs. I loved how you described those forgotten pieces as patiently waiting for the right version of you to bring them to life. That really stayed with me—it’s such a tender way of honouring our past selves and the words they left behind.

There’s something beautiful about rediscovering old writing and realizing how far we’ve come, not just as writers but as people. Your reflection was so honest and grounding. I’m really looking forward to the piece you’ll be sharing this Sunday—it already feels like it’s going to be something special. Thank you for letting us walk alongside you on this journey. I always look forward to reading your posts every week 🥰❤️💛✨️🫶🏻

Hi Saira, there is something truly humbling about revisiting old work, and you’re right—it’s about honoring the version of ourselves that created it, even if we didn’t fully understand the meaning at the time. I’m so grateful for your support and kindness. And I can’t wait for you to read this Sunday’s poem it feels like a new chapter in itself. ❤️ ✨️

There’s definitely something therapeutic about revisiting old work—it’s a gentle reminder of how far we’ve come and how much we’ve grown. I love how you put it—honouring the version of ourselves who created those words, even if we didn’t yet understand their full meaning. It’s such a tender and empowering part of the writing journey. I’m so grateful for your love and support. Truly honoured to be reading along with you and can’t wait to see what you share this Sunday. It really does feel like we’re turning the page into something new together. I can’t wait for you to read mine ✨❤️
