Being sensitive is a super power! I loved reading this, especially the poem. To feel deeply is a tremendous gift and I also think that’s what makes a great writer. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much Suzi 🌿 Sensitivity lets us see the world in colors others might miss, and it’s such a gift to be able to shape that into words. I'm so glad the poem resonated with you . 💕
Your words hit so deeply, D.L. Heather. As a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), I’ve often felt like my emotions and deep care were too much for the world, leading me to shrink myself. But your poem reminded me that my sensitivity isn’t something to hide—it’s a gift. It’s what allows me to truly connect, create, and see the world in a way others might miss. Embracing that sensitivity, rather than hiding it, feels like reclaiming my power. Thank you for helping me see that. 💖
Thank you & for the analysis. Stay soft, real & authentic in a world overwhelmed with fake & flawed. There is such precious beauty in authenticity. Keep writing. Loved it. Subscribed. I look forward to reading more.
Beautiful poetry! We've always said love is the key without understanding what it truly means. Once, we understand that we are love creatures and that our purpose is to express it, then we can understand there is never too much love we can express!
Debs, this is stunning. Truly incredible. You have such a gift for turning softness into strength.
This piece is a balm. A truth. A reminder so many of us needed—especially those of us who’ve been told we’re too much, too soft, too sensitive. That line, “You were made to feel this deeply—to create art from it, to hold space with it, to bring softness into a hard world,” moved me deeply. It’s not just a poem—it’s a reclamation.
Your words always feel like they’re written straight from the heart and land right in someone else’s. You remind us that our sensitivity isn’t our weakness—it’s our magic. It’s our strength.
Thank you for writing this. For giving voice to the parts of us that long to be seen and accepted just as we are. Always grateful for your work and your heart. Always here, always cheering you on. ❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥
Saira I’m endlessly grateful for your kindness, for seeing me, and for walking this path alongside me. Here’s to creating art from the heart, and finding beauty in the becoming. 💛
My pleasure, Debs! Love your work! I'm endlessly grateful for you, our connection, our aim of helping others heal. Always here, always cheering you on, seeing you, hearing you. I’m so grateful to walk this path alongside you too. Here’s to art from the heart, always—and to becoming, in all its brave, beautiful forms. Always with you. ❤️💛🫶🏻
One thing I came to realize is how strong sensitive people are. We have to navigate a world that is often loud and aggressive that we feel more intensely than the average person. That takes strength and courage. Appreciate your thoughts here.
This is beautiful, Debra. My sensitivity actually led me to poetry, which is not like me at all.

Thank you Ariel. Your sensitivity is a superpower. I’m so grateful this poem could be a mirror, even for a moment.💖
